۲ مارچ نو‏ں، ڈپٹی میئر سرہی اورلوف نے اطلاع دتی کہ روسی توپ خانے نے گنجان آباد ضلع ماریوپول اُتے ۱۵ گھینٹے تک گولہ باری کيتی۔ شہر دے کھبے کنارے اُتے واقع اک محلہ "تقریباً مکمل طور اُتے تباہ ہو چکيا تھا" ۔[۴۱]
