Polski: Do czasów obecnych nie przetrwał wizerunek żadnej pieczęci Giedymina. Jednakże znany jest opis wizerunku jednej z jego pieczęci, pochodzącej z 1323 roku. Na pieczęci znajdował się wygrawerowany, siedzący na tronie mężczyzna z długimi włosami, trzymający w prawej ręce koronę, a w lewej ręce berło. Pieczęć została odtworzona na podstawie opisu jej wizerunku. Rzeczywiste barwy nie są nam znane, zostały dodane według własnej koncepcji autora. W celu jak najwierniejszego oddania wizerunku pieczęci Giedymina, autor posłużył się wizerunkami pieczęci wnuków Giedymina; Witolda Kiejstutowicza oraz Zygmunta Kiejstutowicza.
English: No image of the Giedymin seals has survived to the present day. However, the description of the image of one of his seals from 1323 is known. The seal featured an engraved man with long hair sitting on a throne, holding a crown in his right hand and a scepter in his left hand. The vectorized seal was created based on the description of the image from the seal. The actual colors are unknown, they were added according to the author's own concept. In order to present the image of Giedymin's seal as faithfully as possible, the author used images from the seals of Gediminas' grandchildren; Witold Kiejstutowicz and Zygmunt Kiejstutowicz. |
