ابتدائی مسیحیت تو‏ں مراد مسیحیت دا اوہ عرصہ جو یسوع مسیح د‏‏ی وفات یعنی 33ء تو‏ں شروع ہوئے ک‏ے 325ء یعنی نیقیہ کونسل دے انعقاد تک پھیلا ہويا ا‏‏ے۔^[۱] اُتے کدی کدی اس اصطلاح تو‏ں محض یسوع مسیح دے اولین شاگرد، انہاں دے معاصرین تے انہاں دے اخلاف ہی مراد لئی جاندے ني‏‏‏‏ں۔^[۲]^[۳]^[۴]

ابتدائی صدیاں وچ جدو‏ں مسیحیت یہودیت تو‏ں علاحدہ ہوئی تاں کلیسیا دے لئی ایہ نواں دور سی۔ اس دور وچ مسیحیاں اُتے لازم سی کہ اوہ سلطنت روما وچ موجود ہور ادیان دے پیروکاراں دے سامنے اپنے اعتقادات دا دفاع کرن۔ چنانچہ اس کوشش وچ مسیحیاں نو‏‏ں سخت تکلیفاں تے مصائب تو‏ں وی گزرنا پيا، اس لئی مسیحیاں د‏‏ی تریخ وچ اس عہد د‏‏ی خاص اہمیت ا‏‏ے۔
