اگست 2010ء وچ 67% امریکیوں دی ایہ رائے سی کہ؛ مذہب اپنا اثر کھو رہیا اے، جدوں کہ 2006ء وچ 59% امریکی ایہ رائے رکھدے سن ۔ اکثریت سفید ایوینجلیکل پروٹسٹنٹ (79%)، گورے مینلائن پروٹسٹنٹ (67%)، کالے پروٹسٹنٹ (56%)، کاتھولک (71%) تے مذہبی غیر وابستہ افراد(62%) انہاں تمام دا اس گل اُتے اتفاق اے کہ مذہب امریکی زندگی وچ اپنا اثر کھو رہیا اے ; 53% عوام دا مننا سی کہ ایہ اک بری چیز سی، جدوں کہ صرف 10% دے نزدیک ایہ اچھی چیز سی۔[۱۲]
