نورستان افغانستان دے 34 صوبیاں وچوں اک اے۔

نورستان (پشتو: Pashto: نورستان‎) افغانستان دا اک صوبہ ہے۔ ایہہ ہندوکش گھاٹیاں دے دکھن وچّ اتے افغانستان دے چڑھدےحصے وچّ واقع ہے۔ اس صوبے دا رقبہ 9,225 مربع کلومیٹر ہے اتے اس دی آبادی 2002 وچّ لگبھگّ 1.1 لکھ اندازا کیتی گئی سی۔[۱] اس صوبے دا راجگڑھ پارون (پارون) شہر ہے۔ اس صوبے دیاں سرحداں پاکستان نال لگدیاں ہن۔ اتھے دے لگبھگّ 95 % لوک نورستانی ہن۔

1890 تکّ نورستان نوں کافرستان دے نام نال جانیا جاندا سی کیونکہ اس علاقے دے نورستانی لوک اسلام دی بجائے اک ہندو-دھرمدو ورگے اک دھرم دے دھارنی سن۔[۲] 1895 – 96 وچّ افغانستان دے امیر عبدالرحمٰن خان نے حملہ کر کے اتھے قبضہ جما لیا اتے اتھے دے لوکاں نوں مسلمان کیتا۔ اس سمیں اس علاقے دا نام بدلکے نورستان (یعنی نور دی تھاں) رکھ دتا گیا۔[۳][۴]
